Poor Maddox got sick the weekend before thanksgiving. Friday night Bobby and I noticed he was looking a little flush. We were all cuddling on our bed watching TV one minute and stripping the poor baby out of his clothes the next. He was beat red. His fever ended up being 104.5, HE WAS BURING UP! So about 2 hours and some motrin later, it was down to 102. But this lasted for about 5 days! His fever kept shooting up everytime the motrin would wear off. I took him to the dr on Monday, they said it must be viral because his ears and throat and everything looked fine! He also got a cold in his eye, they aren't thinking it was pink eye because it never got goopy just really red and watery. We had drops we had to put in 3x's a day. The poor baby, every time we laid him down to change his diaper we were sticking things up his nose, down his throat and in his eyes! He was not like that at all. Trust me, not the easiest thing to do to a 16 month old! But other than that he was attached at my hip and very cuddly. I was loving that the boy never sit long enough normally to cuddle, so I was eating it up! By Thanksgiving day he was finally feeling better. We went and celebrated it at Michelle's house and Bobby's dads house (Papaw). Food was yummy but Maddox didn't have much of an appetite still. He did discover putting black olives on his fingers and playing with them, he was loving that! I have posted some pictures form the day below, Enjoy!!!
Between the snow and maddox being sick, I haven't been to work in 11 days! I am going stir crazy! I am finally at work today and the little guy is seeming to feel much better! He was not very happy with me dropping him off at daycare the last two days! :(
