Maddox Update

Wow, it has been a long few months for poor Maddy! He has had 5 ear infections since November 1st. We went to see the ear dr on Friday and they have confirmed that he will be getting tube in his ears. He goes in on Jan 31st and they said it is a quick procedure, should be in and done with the surgery in like 15 minutes. And be fully recoved by the next day! I am so worried that they will be putting him to sleep but I know TONS of kids have to have tubes, so I am sure he will be ok. The poor baby has been battling ear infection after ear infection and has been on constant medication! So this will be best for him!

Dispite all this he is doing so well, he is trying to talk more and more, although a lot of the words sound the same, everything seems to start with a "b" sound. Bubble, Apple and Balloon all sound like the same word! Hard to tell if this is from his ear infections or not. We shall soon find out. A few cute things he is doing, he can identify all his parts, eyes, nose, mouth, ears, head, fingers, toes, feet, belly. If I ask him if he poopied he grabs his butt! He has about 10 words now, Uhh-Ohhh (being the newest one), he says Dada (his favorite word), mama (only sometimes) bye-bye, done, wow! wow! (for his favorite show), thank-you, apple, bubble, hello... thats all I can think of right now. He can tell you that the cow says Moooooo and that the tiger says roar. He listens to directions a lot of the time, going to his room when I tell him we need to get dressed or change his diaper! He's so cute! HA! That is about it for now! Hope all is well with everyone!
