Wow, I am so happy to say everything went really well on Friday! The worst part was when he woke up in the morning and couldn't have his milk. O and the tearful ride to the surgical center and waiting after getting admitted for the Dr (who was late) to get there was not fun! Actually other than when the nurse came and took Maddox from us that was probably the worst part of it all. I did tear up a bit when they came to take him, he was not a happy camper! But from the time they took him down and then came and got us in the waiting room it was about 15 minutes. The Dr was out and talking to us in about 8 (Can you tell we were watching the clock). I am so glad it didn't last a moment longer. They warned us that he would not be happy when he woke up and probably wouldn't be happy until we were driving home and he fell asleep. I left the nurse his sippy cup just in case. Good thing I did, she said the minute he start to wake up he seen his sippy grabbed it and was sleepy-ly drinking his milk! Quiet as a mouse! We sat and rocked him until he woke up and then he was just as happy to get some little rainbow chip cookies (his fav). He did get a little mad when he thought we were taking them to put on his coat and SHOVED them all into his mouth! HA! He did good even ate a hashbrown from Dunkin Donuts on the way home. When we got home he went down for a nap for about 3 hours. After that he was up and playing like nothing happened to him! He was so happy and honestly looked to us like he already felt better! I am hoping this is the start of being a little more healthier!
Another good note, he started his new daycare today! I think he is going to LOVE it here! I already do! He went right in and started playing! He only came back to me once and then could careless I was there or not! One funny thing is, he is the ONLY boy in his class! All the girls raced over to him and was pointing at his eyes and nose, Maddox looked like "what the heck are they doing to me?" Ha! I went to the office and watched him on the video screen for a few minutes and he was playing on the motorcycle they have in there, I think daddy will love that one too! I am sure he has many moments of playing kitchen and dolls to come! But it's good to know he has some boy things to play with!
